Misaki is a 10 year old female.

Misaki is extremely obese, weighing over 28 pounds when she should be 15-17. She also had a MASSIVE growth hanging from her belly that has been removed and has been analyzed to find out that it was just a lipoma (fatty mass). Even with her extreme weight, she’s in very good health.

Misaki is 10 years old and is about the sweetest dog ever. She’s great with other dogs, cats, kids and adults. She’s starting to play with toys and loves to be near her foster family. 

What Misaki would like more than anything is a family of her own, one that will help her continue her weight loss journey and will never leave her. 

From Misaki:

My foster mom says I’m very smart. If I need something (a potty break, food, water, etc.) I will bark to let you know. Of course, I would love to have food all of the time, but I’m on a serious diet to lose the weight that slows me down. I’m already making progress though, and my lizard hunting skills are improving as I become more active. That being said, I am content to lounge and snooze in the yard or in my bed (no crate). Friendly and agreeable, I get along fine with my housemates (even a big dog) and will give kisses to those who ask. I’m not a big fan of car rides; they make me a bit anxious. One last thing, I am impeccably housetrained, so I’m good to go!
