Day-Z is a 12 year old female, 17 pounds
Brought to the shelter as an owner surrender after she was hit by a car and the owners decided, after a few days to a week, that her broken pelvis wasn’t going to heal itself...
she had surgery with Dr Unis and she’s all healed and ready for her new family.
She is playful and sweet, good with other dogs and loves kids.
A little nervous around men at first, but settles in and loves everyone.
Belly rubs and chew toys are her favorites.
We would never know by her energy level that she is 12, but the shelter had records of her coming for shots there for the last 12 years since she was a baby.
She’s got a little wiggle to her hind end because of the healed injury, but doesn’t bother her at all.
She is fully housebroken and is a very good listener.
She’s not a fan of sharing toys, but who likes that anyway?
She would be fine as an only dog or with others. Day-Z just wants to be loved and told she’s a good girl.
