Coloring:    Black-striped Tabby                     Type of Hair:   Short

Gets Along With:  Fiesta gets along fine with dogs but would prefer a home without other cats. She would be best in a home with kids over 8 years.

Currently Living at:   DC Area Foster.

Special adoption considerations: Fiesta has an old injury to the base of her tail! 

What I’m Looking For:  Look at those gorgeous eyes!  Fiesta is looking for a family who will give her the attention that she needs.  Fiesta is ready to put her rough beginnings behind her and move on to her own new loving home!  Fiesta is very sweet and is not shy about asking for attention from her people.  In fact she likes to follow her foster around the house most of the time!  She has her own ideas about when she likes to be pet, but she can be counted on to be around during cuddle time in front of the TV!  She loves to play and would like someone who can give her the exercise she needs.  Could that be you?  Check out her day-in-the-life video!

Fiesta is up-to-date on her vaccinations, has tested negative for FIV/FELV, and has been spayed.  All ready for her new family!

What My Foster Says About Me: Fiesta is a good companion and loves to hang out with people and lay with them on the couch, chair, or bed. She gets along OK with dogs (who know not to mess with her!) and most other cats (though she will not be their best friend). Because she is particular about how much petting she will allow, she is not a good match for families with kids. She would be a good pet for an experienced cat owner. She tolerates being pet on the head, but due to her injuries, isn't a big fan of long-term petting. Then there's 10% of the time - she's a feisty gal; who loves her scratching posts and goes for the zoomies and has a wild time!
