Cherry is a 1 year old female, 8 pounds.

Shy little girl but sweet and loves to be held and near people.  Good with other dogs.

Cherry is heartworm positive, if she is adopted before her treatment is complete, DRSF will cover the cost to get rid of the heartworms at one of our partner vets.

From Cherry:

I am a cuddler and kisser extraordinaire! And, yes, the floppy ear that you see in my photos is just one more thing that contributes to me being one cute character! I’m up for a reasonable amount of romping with my dog friends, and I’m a fan of snoozing in my bed (no crate) and eating (but my weight is fine). Baths are not on my list of favorite things; however, I’m expertly house trained, and when I meet new people I’m smitten once I know I can trust you. I adore my humans and am content to come in close for a pet and a pat.
