ELMER NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!

Best Guess for Age:  1  year as of 10/20   SEX:  MALE

Approximate Weight:  45 lbs

Gets Along With:  Other dogs! We haven't seen him around cats and he should not go to a home with children under the age of 12.

Currently Living at:  DC area foster home.

Special Adoption Considerations:  Elmer is a SHY pup, he MUST go to a home with another dog already present to help him build his confidence. 

Elmer is Looking For:  A home filled with love and snuggles and one willing provide the time I need to build my confidence. I'm still a young impressionable pup so I'll need plenty of exercise, training and treats to grow into a well mannered pup!

What My Foster Says About Me: "Elmer is a sweet boy who wants to be loved, but is still not sure if he can trust people enough to let them do that. He likes affection and sometimes to cuddle, but it often needs to be on his terms; he also warms up to women much quicker than men. On the other hand, he loves other dogs and would do well in a home where he can have a friend to play and hang out with. Elmer has the potential to be great dog and best friend"
