MEET FUDGE!!

This handsome 10 year old 9 pound guy is all ready to find his forever home. One that will stick by him for the rest of his life.

Things have been a little rough for Fudge recently. He was surrendered by his owner in central Florida, spent a couple weeks at one of our DRSF friends up that way until we could get him a ride to see our vet at Pet Medical Center of Boca. Once getting his nasty teeth dealt with, he was off to his foster home.

He’s a skinny guy who is working on adding weight. And Fudge is completely blind. He came to us that way, but we don’t know when or how he became blind.

He’s not bothered by it and may see some dark and light.

Fudge LOVES all people, but could really do without other dogs. He’s not much of a fan of the unpredictable-ness of them. Fudge also doesn’t enjoy the rambunctiousness of very young children. He loves sitting in laps and getting belly rubs.

These days I revel in burying myself in a blanket and snoozing in a soft bed. The combination of being up there in years and as well as sight compromised makes me a slow mover who doesn’t navigate stairs. I’m still great at the potty routine, so no worries there. If you want to pour out your love on me, I will reciprocate with kisses and loads of lap time!
