Coloring: brown & tan tabby                             Type of Hair: short

Gets Along With: Due to her age, Laverne will likely get along with other cats, dogs, and kids, given an appropriate acclimation period.

Currently Living at: DC area foster home.

I’m Looking For: I'm a sweet little thing looking for my fur-ever home!  I've heard toys are so much fun to pounce on and I'd love to have some of my own to try out.  I'd also love to nap in some sunspots and snuggle up with you for some belly rubs!  Doesn't that sound great?

What My Foster Says About Me: Laverne was shy at first, and has now adjusted to her new environment, and has come out of her shell now! Very playful, and loves food!

2nd update: Laverne has turned into a lap cat! She will lie on my lap for very extended time while I work. She's also totally fine with our dog!

Kitten Vetting Requirements: Your Kitten may not be fully vaccinated upon adoption.  You will be responsible for providing whatever remaining vaccines are needed to complete the kitten vaccine series.

Due to this kitten’s young age, she/he has not yet been spayed or neutered.  As part of the adoption contract, it will be your responsibility, as the adopter, to ensure that this is done no later than 3/7/2021. There are NO EXCEPTIONS and NO EXTENSIONS to this date.

TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this cat is $175 ($300 for two cats or kittens adopted together), which includes the cost of routine vetting. If you are interested in adopting, please complete the Adoption Questionnaire online HERE.
