Bessie came to us almost 3 months ago from Puerto Rico and the night after she arrived she had 9 puppies.
She’s a 2 year old 35 pound girl who had spent at least 6 months on the street of Puerto Rico before being rescued and sent to DRSF.
Now that her babies have all gotten adopted, she’s starting to figure out how dogging goes.
She is starting to play with toys and gets the zoomies daily.
She’s good with other dogs and would really like one who would play with her.
She hasn’t figured out the walking on a leash thing yet so a fenced back yard is the way to go for her. She is starting to figure it out though.
She does not do well with cats, but is fine with all sizes of people.
We do recognize that she isn’t much (if any) dachshund, but she needed us.... so here she is.
