Sadie is Looking For: Woof! I was envious when my brother Stewart went all the way to DC at the end of November 2020 so the good people at Lucky Dog could find him a forever home. It's now my turn for Lucky Dog to find me a forever home, and I can't wait! The shelter staff say I'm a very loving dog and that's right on! I'm looking for my very own humans, who will love me as much as I love them.
I am so ready to live the good life with someone who wants a happy girl like me around. I've been dreaming of a home where I can go on lots of walks to meet other dogs and people, opportunities to show off how smart I am in obedience school, and discovering all the fun things I have heard about like toys and treats.
There is a lot of love I have to offer the special family who makes me theirs. So, what do you say? Am I the one for you?

What My Foster Says About Me:

Sadie has been very calm thus far. She has met all the dogs, the cats, and children. She does well with all of them. She actually is a bit more open when she is interacting with other dogs. Sadie loves a good snuggle and to lay on the couch. We are getting her a dog pillow so she and Talia can lay around with us during our hang out time. She is aware of her crate and sleeps well in it with some form of cushion. She prefers to go on walks for 30 minutes in intervals of every 2 hours. If she doesn't she will let you know by plopping down near you or on the couch.

Sadie seems to enjoy laying around people. After she has had a slow introduction to her family she just want to relax with you. She doesn't care much for stairs, however she will go down them. Just take it slow. Her personality speaks for itself. Sweet, calm, and just snuggle bug.

Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.
