AVERY NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!

Come meet Avery and other great adoptable dogs this Sunday (May 5th) from 12-3 pm at the PETSMART in ALEXANDRIA (3351 Richmond Hwy, Alexandria, VA 22305)!

Name:   Avery      Best Guess for Breed:   Shepherd/ Corgi mix 

Best Guess for Age:  2 Years as of May 2024       SEX:  Male

Estimated Weight:  42 lbs as of 4/25/24

Gets Along With:  Other Dogs! He has been around older kids and done well, but has not lived with them. We haven't seen him with kids, but he can be tested.

Currently Living at:  DC area foster home.

Avery is Looking For:   

Avery arrived into our care as a puppy with his big adorable ears, in September 2022 and was immediately adopted. He has been in a loving and caring home since then - and now, through no fault at all of his own, needs a new home. His previous family said he loves playing with other dogs and loves people. He's a happy, energetic boy who loves his walks with lots of sniffs, please! And he loves his buds at the dog park too.

He is so eager to once again have his own humans for those sniffy walks - romps in the parks - and world exploration. Trips to the mountains, the beach, Starbucks for pup cups- yes, please! Yummy kibble and a cushy dog bed are on his wish list as well but above that are snuggles and being told he is such a good boy. In exchange, he promises lots of love and adoring gazes and loyal companionship for all his days. 

Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.
