Estimated Weight (puppies' weights change quickly!):    29.4 lbs as of 6/11/23

Gets Along With: Most puppies are in the prime of their socialization window and will do well with other dogs, cats and kids so long as they receive patience and proper training.

Currently Living at:  DC area foster home

Special Adoption Considerations:   Puppies under 6 months of age need to have multiple potty breaks/exercise throughout the day. Potential adopters with a standard 8-hour workday must be willing to make arrangements to meet the needs of their puppy. 

Nemmie is Looking For:  This cutie is one of a litter of eight (Nox, Nicky, Norbert, Noble, Nolan, Nemmie, Nambia, Nymeria). Their mama Luna has done a great job raising them and now they're ready to jump out of their puppy pile and into their new humans' arms! Here's what this pup wants you to know:
"Woof! I'm just a baby so I want lots of play time and snuggles and to explore my new home. And then soon I'll be ready to explore the world too. I'd love to make new doggy and human friends - could we go to the park and other places where we get to do that? I also want to learn to be the goodest pup I can be so I'd love to go to puppy kindergarten. I can't wait to give my humans lots of kisses and tail wags and laughs - and to always be their loyal companion."

What My Foster Says About Me: Nemmie is a very sweet puppy!  She’s a bit on the shy side but very friendly.  She enjoys playing either by herself or with my other foster puppy Timba.  She loves all toys and enjoys the dog park too.  She’s cautious but friendly with bigger dogs at the park, but she likes greeting all of the people most of all!  Nemmie is quite cuddly and is very happy to snuggle up with me on the couch while I read or watch TV.  She also loves walks and is excited to explore and sniff everything.  She’s a gem!

Puppy Vetting Requirements:  Lucky Puppies have had their age appropriate vaccines, but may not yet be “fully” vaccinated. It is the adopter’s responsibility to ensure that the remaining puppy vaccines are given at the appropriate time. Please also keep in mind that, until your puppy is fully vaccinated, they are at greater risk for illness than an adult dog.   

Your new puppy will need to work on their house training and will also need to go to obedience school so they can grow into a well-socialized dog!
