Buck is Looking For:  His forever family! This sweet boy, through no fault at all of his own, now needs a new home and is oh so eager to meet his new humans for lots of sniffy walks (with that beagle nose!) and world exploration. Snuggles and love and a cushy dog bed are high on his wish list as well. But what he wants most of all is to know he's safe and loved and under his own roof for all his days. In exchange, he promises adoring gazes and loyal companionship.
What do you say? Does Buck have a spot in your home and your heart?

What My Foster Says About Me:   If you’re looking for a couch potato who also loves being active, Buck may be your guy! Buck spends most of his day rotating between his favorite napping spots in the house, though spends most of his time curled up next to me while I work. He still has a few pounds to lose, but that shouldn’t be hard since his favorite thing to do is go on long sniffy walks. Even though he’s not a puppy anymore, he still has a lot of energy and endurance, and he’d love a walking, running, or hiking buddy to get in the miles! He’s very polite with cats, kids, and other dogs, and while he’ll occasionally play at the dog park, is much more interested in all of the smells and doing rounds to get pets from all of the people. Even my own grumpy/alpha dog likes him. He sleeps through the night in his crate and we haven’t had any accidents, and he rarely barks. He continues to come out of his shell more every day, but continues to be a mellow, happy, polite boy!

Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.
