Gets Along With:   Other dogs! We haven’t seen Alondra with cats, but she can be tested! Due to Alondra's shyness, she should not go to a home with kids under 12. 

Special Adoption Considerations: Because Alondra is shy, she needs to go to a home with a confident, welcoming resident dog. Due to her shy personality, we do not recommend her for a home with children under the age of 12.

What my foster says: Alondra is a very timid girl who blossoms slowly over time. She would like a home with low-key, small dogs to show her how good life can be when you find your “pack”. She has shown interest in playing with small dogs, but needs more confidence to fully let down her guard and have some fun. Alondra would be the perfect dog for a cat-person. Similar to a cat, she prefers to perch on a couch and people watch. She is not a big fan of being outside yet, and likes to go out to do her business quickly and then come back inside to relax. No long walks required for this girl! She has been a perfect angel sleeping quietly while her foster mom goes to work and has had no accidents in the house. She is the easiest dog to take care of and asks for very little beyond a safe, welcoming home. Alondra needs someone who will be patient and understanding, and soon enough she will reward you with sweet little kisses!

Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.
