Sally

Sally is an eight year old 12 pound mix of some sort. When she came to us, her bottom jaw was broken and could not be repaired. The only way to help her was to remove that rotted part of her bottom jaw.

Since her surgery, Sally’s personality has started to shine through. She is an active and happy little girl. She loves to run in the backyard and chase lizards, possums, squirrels, and birds. She loves to get other dogs to run around and play with her. She is funny and sweet. She will flinch if someone reaches down too quickly, it is likely that her life before DRSF was not kind. She loves to get head scratches from anyone who will go slow and once she’s comfortable, the flinching stops. She loves to jump up into laps and get snuggles. She is excellent with all other dogs and cats. She is good with adults and children.

She eats without any problem. Her foster mom gives her a little bit of kibble with a little bit of wet food and water and turns it into a soup. Sally, then just laps it all up. She’s an amazing little girl who deserves a loving family of her own.
