Currently Living at:   DC area foster home.

Kimmie is Looking For: Her forever home! This sweet girl is eager to have her own humans for long sniffy walks and romps in the park and all the adventures they can dream up. Trips to the beach, the mountains, Starbucks for pup cups - yes, please! Along the way, she'd like to make lots of pup and people pals. Most of all, though, she wants to know she's safe and loved for all her days, and to have a family upon whom to bestow all the adoring gazes and tail wags she's been saving up.

What shelter staff say about her: Kimmie is awesome. She loves going to playgroup with other dogs and is fearless - she likes rough and tumble play, and happily wrestles with a 71-pound dog at the shelter! But she's got an awesome balance - she's not all play all the time. She also loves pets and cuddles and quiet time. 

What My Foster Says About Me: While Kimmie may be shy to warm up you, she absolutely loves her dog friends - no matter how big or small they are! While it's not required, she would probably love to go to a home with another playful dog or a home that can let her frequently socialize with others dogs. She is a pretty chill girl indoors, but when she is out playing, she shows her fun and silly side. She loves to play tug-of-war, fetch, and just wrestling with friends. She ignores her feline roommates and lives with a 9-year-old kid that she loves! She sleeps through the night and would prefer to see you when she is in the crate. Kimmie has done great with leash walking and we are still working on housebreaking but she is absolutely getting the hand of it!  

Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.
