BODOR NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!

Come meet Bodor and other great adoptable dogs this Sunday (October 1st) from 12-3 pm at the Potomac Yard PetSmart in Alexandria (3351 Richmond Hwy, Alexandria, VA 22305)!

Best Guess for Age:  16 weeks as of 9/11            SEX:  Male

Estimated Weight (puppies' weights change quickly!):  24 lbs as of 9/11

Gets Along With:  Most puppies are in the prime of their socialization window and will do well with other dogs, cats and kids so long as they receive patience and proper training. Bodor currently lives with children and does well with them. 

Currently Living at:  DC area foster home

Special Adoption Considerations:  Puppies under 6 months of age need to have multiple potty breaks/exercise throughout the day. Potential adopters with a standard 8-hour workday must be willing to make arrangements to meet the needs of their puppy. 

Bodor is Looking For: Hiya! I'm Bodor! Me and my siblings (Brunhilda, Benja, Boris, Bertha, Brianna, and Bruce) have had a great time hanging out in this really cute puppy pile, but we are ready to pack up our puppy suitcases and find our very own forever homes! I'd like to request a home filled with toys and treats and belly rubs and soft, cozy places to rest my head and laps to snuggle on and even more treats. Sorry, I may have gotten carried away! Once I'm older, I definitely want to go on plenty of walks, maybe a hike or two on the weekend? Oh, and maybe swimming too! I'm up for anything, as long as I have my people by my side. What do you say? Am I the pup for you? 

What My Foster Says About Me: Bodor is the happiest, hoppiest boy!! I can always tell where he is in the apartment because I can hear his little feet as he hops from toy to toy. Every time my dog wakes up from a nap he goes hoping over to greet her with a kiss. He's such a patient boy too, as soon as we get in the elevator he sits right down and waits for the doors to open. He's still working on house training, but as long as I stay on schedule he's had no issues. He also loves kids! There was a little girl in the dog park and Bodor couldn't wait to jump in her stroller and give her lots of kisses. He also met lots of young kids at the adoption event and sat patiently waiting for love!! He's loved dogs of all sizes at the dog park from Maltese to German Shepherd. He's going to be such a great addition to any family!! 

Puppy Vetting Requirements:  Lucky Puppies have had their age appropriate vaccines, but may not yet be “fully” vaccinated. It is the adopter’s responsibility to ensure that the remaining puppy vaccines are given at the appropriate time. Please also keep in mind that, until your puppy is fully vaccinated, they are at greater risk for illness than an adult dog.    

Your new puppy will need to work on their house training and will also need to go to obedience school so they can grow into a well-socialized dog!
