COCOA NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!!

Name:  Cocoa         Best Guess for Breed:  Foxhound terrier and beagle mix

Best Guess for Age:  8 months as of 9/25/23       SEX:  Female

Approximate Weight:  30 lbs as of 8/24/23; still has a bit more to grow!

Gets Along With:   Other dogs! Hasn't been seen with kids or cats but can be tested. 

Currently Living at:  Puerto Rico shelter; needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get on a freedom flight up here!

Cocoa is Looking For:  This sweetie is one of a litter of four (Venti, Coffee, Mocha, and Cocoa) born to their mama Prada. They grew up together in a Puerto Rico shelter and now they're eager to come to the DC area and split up to get their own forever homes!
You can imagine how different the smells in this area will be from Puerto Rico! Cocoa is oh so eager to have her own humans to trot alongside, checking out all those smells; for romps in parks; and all the adventures her new family can dream up! She'd also like to make pup and people pals along the way, and attend dog school to show how super smart she is. 

Most of all, though, she wants to know she's safe and loved for all her days - and to have her own humans to bestow all those adoring gazes and tail wags upon. What do you say? Does Cocoa sound like just the right warm drink for you, especially headed into those cooler fall days?

What My Foster Says About Me:  We will update this once this pup has arrived in the DC area and spent some time in foster care. 

Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.
