Best Guess for Age:  1 year as of December 2023       SEX: Male

Approximate Weight:  43 lbs

Gets Along With:  Other dogs! Presley has lived with children and done well. We have tested Presley with some of the cats at an event, and he did not seem particularly interested in chasing or pouncing on the cat. While this is a positive sign that Presley could live with a cat, he has not done so to our knowledge. If you have cats in your home, we are happy to discuss with you how to best introduce a new pup to your pack!

Presley is Looking For:  His forever family! This cutie says he hasn't seen nearly enough of the world yet. He's eager to experience new places, people, and pups! Long sniffy walks, romps in the park, all the adventures his new humans can dream up - yes, please! He has also added "variety of toys, quality kibble, and cushy dog bed" to his wish list. (He's open to trying peanut butter and banana sandwiches as well, especially if they have bacon in them!) Going to dog school would be great too, so he can show off his smarts. But what he wants most of all is to know he's safe and loved and under his own roof. In exchange, he promises loyal companionship, adoring gazes, and tail wags.

What My Foster Says About Me:  Presley is such a good boy! He is good on walks and like to explore everything and anything with his nose. When he sees others,  he is the first to say to greet them and real likes to make friends, both humans and canine. He loves playing with his toys and does a good job of fetching anything you throw at him. He has had very few accidents and understand some commands. He also is very good in his crate and sleep there through the night. 

3/16 Update from Boarding: Presley is a cutie!
We started his play and train with a little enrichment, a licki mat with peanut butter and yogurt. He loved it! 

I then dumped all of the toys out to see if he wanted to engage in some playtime with me. He seemed pretty curious!

I wanted to see what cues he knew and came to find out he’s awesome at “sit,” “down,” and recall. He definitely knows his name! Yay Presley!!!
