Canela is a 6 year old female from Puerto Rico, 10 pounds

Needs a minute to warm up, but when she does she is all about getting attention and sitting in laps.
She’s good with other dogs and cats.

Canela is heartworm positive and has started the first steps of the treatment. She will need to be adopted by a family in Miami Dade, Broward or Palm Beach county in order to be near our partner vets. DRSF will cover the costs of her treatment at one of our partner vets (not prevention) as long as it is scheduled through us. If someone outside of our area would like to adopt her, the adopter will be fully responsible for her treatment and will need to provide DRSF with records showing completed treatment.
