Hi! My name is Shivers, and I am an 8-year-old, 50 pound Plott Hound mix looking for a new home! My current family's life circumstances have changed and they can no longer keep me, so that means I'm on the hunt for new digs. Might those be with you?

I'm an older boy, but we hounds still have plenty of energy even at 8 years old! I'm looking forward to long walks, trips to the dog park (I'm not TOTALLY sure about those dog parks, but I'm willing to try!), and maybe even long hikes in the woods with you! On the other hand, once I get good and tired out, nothing sounds better than a long winter's nap in my very own cozy spot or in front of a roaring fire! Ah, bliss!

I get along well with cats, so hey! The more the merrier! Additionally, I may need a refresher with my obedience training so I can show you what a very good boy I am!

Like most dogs, Shivers may need a refresher on house training. He is likely crate trained.
