ALLISON NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!!

Name:   Allison         Best Guess for Breed:    Chihuahua-Terrier Mix  

Best Guess for Age:   3 years as of 12/04/2023         SEX:    female

Approximate Weight:   15 lbs.

Gets Along With:   Allison does well with other dogs and needs to go to a home with a welcoming resident dog. She also has lived with cats. Due to her shyness, breed, and small size, she may not go to a home with children under the age of 12. 

Currently Living at:  South Carolina shelter; Allison needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get her freedom ride up here!

Special adoption considerations:  Because Allison is shy, she needs to go to a home with a confident, welcoming resident dog. Due to her shy personality and breed mix, we do not recommend her for a home with children under the age of 12.

Allison is Looking For: Some peace and quiet! This adorable little dog  worked hard at being a good mom to her babies Aaron and Austin, and in turn deserves to be the one showered with love and affection. Allison will be a good fit for a household that was adults-only or older kids in their teens. Currently, her best friend is a cat!

Allison wants nothing more than to trot through the world with all the confidence of a well-loved pup. Right now, though, she's shy and unsure. She needs extra patient and loving humans who will help her - and a welcoming resident dog to help show her how to dog. Training will help build her braves as well. In exchange - she promises adoring gazes and loyal companionship for all her days.

What My Foster Says About Me:   We will update after Allison arrives and spends some time with a foster.
