BO IS LOOKING FOR A FOREVER HOME!

Come meet Bo and other great adoptable dogs this Sunday (April 21st) from 12-3 pm at the Petsmart in Falls Church (6100A Arlington Blvd, Falls Church, VA 22044)!

Name:  Bo       Best Guess for Breed:  Shepherd and cattle dog mix

Best Guess for Age:  9 months as of January 2024         SEX:   Male

Approximate Weight:  37 lbs as of 1/17/24; he is still growing

Gets Along With:   Other dogs! Bo currently lives with cats and is doing well with them. Because Bo is shy, he needs to go to a home with a confident, welcoming resident dog. Due to his shy personality, we do not recommend him for a home with children under the age of 12.

Currently Living at: DC area foster home

Special adoption considerations:    Dogs from Puerto Rico have a major transition to go through when they arrive and will need humans who are very committed to socialization. We think Bo would do best with either a resident dog or a family who can make sure he can go on walks regularly with other dogs, visit the dog park, or go to doggie daycare to learn the ropes. 

Bo is Looking For:  His forever home! This young boy was rescued in Puerto Rico and he's eager to start his new chapter in the DC area. Getting his own humans for long sniffy walks, romps in the park, and all the adventures they can dream up - yes, please! Exploring all the toys to see what he likes best! Quality kibble and a cushy dog bed! Most of all, however, he wants to know he's safe and loved and under his own roof for all his days. 

In exchange, he promises adoring gazes, happy tail wags, and loyal companionship. What do you say? Can you see Bo trotting by your side on all your outings?

What My Foster Says About Me:   If you are looking for a Bo-dacious pup to love you unconditionally and to be an adventure partner, look no further! Bo is a gentle yet playful soul with a huge heart. He demands a hug from his foster father first thing every morning and keeps his foster mother's feet warm while she works. He has some puppy energy. He loves to wrestle with his canine foster sister, he is a great running companion for his foster dad, and he had so much fun when he had the opportunity to hit the (hiking) trail! He is simultaneously a very sweet, gentle boy. He is good with cats and has a special bond with his cowardly lion feline foster brother. It takes Bo a little while to warm up to strange humans, but once he does, his love and affection are boundless. Bo has convinced himself that he's small enough to be a lap dog and despite being a tad too big for that, he's okay hanging off the sides. 

Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.
