Approximate Weight:   36 lbs as of February 2024

Gets Along With:    Other dogs! She lives with an 11 year old child and has been doing well. We haven't seen her with cats but she can be tested.

Currently Living at:   South Carolina foster. She needs a local foster or adopter to get her freedom ride to the DC area.

Darcy is Looking For:    Her forever home! Darcy has so much joyful young-dog energy and she is eager to burn it romping in local parks, hiking in the mountains or running with her humans - all  of it sounds great! Making new pup pals at doggie daycare and playing with them? Sounds great too! Agility training? Sure! Mental enrichment would be great too - how about some nosework? Exploring all the toys sounds great too, as well as quality kibble and a cushy dog bed.

Most of all, though, she wants to know she's safe and loved and under her own roof every time the sun goes down. In exchange, she promises adoring gazes, cuddles, and loyalty for all her days. What do you say? Is Darcy the joyful, energetic addition to your household you've been seeking? 

What My South Carolina Foster Says About Me:   She’s such a sweet girl… a little mischievous but so loving.  She gets along well with the other dogs and will jump right up in the chair with my 9 year old to snuggle (and my daughter is LOUD lol). 

Darcy loves everyone she meets and thinks anyone that comes in the house is there to see her. She’s playful and loves to run around with other dogs. So far she has done well in the crate at night and has only had 1 accident in the house since we got her. We all just adore her!

Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.
