I am Looking For: My loving forever family! Hi! I'm Eris- a beautiful Tortie girl. I won’t ask for much- just some love, cuddles and lots of toys so I can run and play and be my kitty self.

What My Foster Says About Me: (3/22): Eris is fully settled in now and her personality is coming out. She’s super sweet, curious and affectionate and follows us around when she’s not napping (on a blanket on the couch next to us is her favorite place to sleep).  When we come down in the AM or come home after being out she comes to say good morning or hello immediately with her signature scratchy meow, many head butts and soft purr.  She’s a very sweet girl who would just love someone to cuddle next to (or on) as much as you will let her and give her cheek scratches.  She’s kind of interested in the dog (sadly he’s afraid of her, for no real reason) and gets along well enough with our cats to eat wet food all together at meal times without issues.

(3/13)
Eris is coming out of her shell very nicely and has full run of the house and enough confidence here now to fully explore it. Turns out she’s super chatty and chirpy now that she’s settled in and she’s getting more snuggly by the day … she even slept on a blanket on a lap during TV watching time last night (a first for her - usually she comes and sits close by for pets and then walks back and forth across laps but hasn’t settled). She’s now fine with our 90lb lab mix and ignores him mostly, and she’s working on it with our two 5 year old cats from Lucky Dog. My sense is she doesn’t need a home with other pets but could be fine if that’s where she landed.

(3/1) Eris is still doing well and has met our two cats and our dog / has run of the house. She’s getting used to our cats and mostly ignores the dog. She likes to be brushed and likes to bat around a soft mouse toy.  As she’s gotten more comfortable here she’s coming around to find us to get pets (usually in the evening).
