Name:   Lavender         Best Guess for Breed:   Retriever Mix  

Best Guess for Age:   7 months old as of February 2024          SEX:    Female

Approximate Weight:   22.4 lbs as of February 2024; she is still growing!

Gets Along With:   Other dogs! Lavender has not been seen with cats or kids yet, but she can be tested. 

Special Adoption Considerations: You may notice Lavender has some hair loss – have no fear!  She is being treated for demodex which is a non-contagious form of mange triggered by a weak immune system. He/She will have a shiny coat in no time!

Currently Living at: SC shelter. She needs a foster or forever home to make her freedom ride.

Lavender is Looking For:   Her people! Lavender is a very sweet girl just past her youngest puppy days and with lots of love to give. Though she arrived at the shelter with a non-contagious skin infection, she is being treated and is on the road to recovery! Her beautiful eyes and sweet pink nose will just look even cuter as her soft tan fur grows back. Despite having a tough start to life, Lavender is a very loving and playful girl who is excited to do all of the fun things her humans can dream up! Weather it be long walks, playing at the dog park, or even just snuggling on the couch, she is ready for any adventure! This girl will be the perfect addition to a very lucky family. Could that family be you?!
