Come meet Rockefeller and other great adoptable dogs this Sunday (March 17th) from 12-3 pm at the Petsmart in Falls Church (6100 Arlington Blvd, Falls Church, VA 22044)!

Name:  Rockefeller        Best Guess for Breed: Shepherd mix

Best Guess for Age:  8 months as of February 2024     SEX:  Male

Approximate Weight: 36 lbs as of 2/17/24; he is still growing

Gets Along With:  Other dogs! We have tested him with some of the cats at the shelter and he did not try to chase them. While this is a good sign he could love wioth cats, he has not done so to our knowledge. If you have cats, let us know and we'll be happy to discuss how to add a new pup to your pack! We haven't seen him with kids but he can be tested

Currently Living at:  DC area foster home

Rockefeller is Looking For:   Vanderbilt. Carnegie. Astor. This pup says he has just as much in common with those names as with Rockefeller, and he doesn't quite understand why he's suddenly a business magnate. See, his idea of true wealth - how he measures success  - is by how much love he gets from - and gives to - his humans. No balance sheet can show that. 

He's a young boy, not long out of puppyhood, and oh so eager to have his own family for long sniffy walks, romps in the park and all the adventures they can dream up. He'd love to make pup and people pals along the way, as well as go to dog school to show you he's an A+ student. Most of all, though, he wants to be under his own roof, safe and loved. In exchange, he promises adoring gazes and kisses and loyal companionship for all his days.
