Come meet Outback and other great adoptable dogs this Sunday (March 17th) from 12-3 pm at the Petsmart in Falls Church (6100 Arlington Blvd, Falls Church, VA 22044)!

Name: Outback          Best Guess for Breed: Terrier mix

Best Guess for Age:   1 year as of February 2024       SEX:   Male

Approximate Weight: 30 lbs

Gets Along With:    Other dogs! We haven't seen him with kids or cats but he can be tested

Currently Living at:  DC area foster home

Special adoption considerations:   You may notice Outback has some hair loss – have no fear!  He is being treated for demodex which is a non-contagious form of mange triggered by a weak immune system. He will have a shiny coat in no time!

Outback is Looking For:  His forever home! Outback says he hasn't seen nearly enough of the world yet  (despite his name, he's never been to the Australian outback either!) and he's eager to have his own humans to explore it with. Long sniffy walks, romps in parks, and all the adventures they can dream up - yes, please! He'd love to make pup and people pals along the way. Dog school is on his wish list as well, so he can show how super smart he is. 

Most of all, he wants to know where he belongs and that he's safe and loved for all his days. In exchange, he promises loyal companionship.
