Gets Along With:   Other dogs! We haven't seen her with kids or cats but she can be tested. 

Currently Living at: Foster

Special adoption considerations:  When Lolita arrived at the shelter, she was pretty scared and nervous to meet new people. She has been making great strides, though! We think she will do best if she has a resident dog in the home, or has opportunities to see dogs in new environments - they can show her how to dog!
 

Lolita is Looking For:    Her forever home! At about a year old she hasn't seen nearly enough of the world yet and is eager to have her own humans to explore it with. She's really an awesome girl with all that young-dog energy - and she's super treat motivated, so she's fun to train.

She can be a little unsure when meeting new people or in new environments, so she'd like extra patient and loving adopters who will help her navigate those experiences. Being able to interact with and see other dogs will help - and training will build her braves as well.

Most of all, she wants to love and know she's safe and loved and under her own roof. She wants to know who her humans are, so she can lavish upon them all the adoring gazes and snuggles and loyal companionship in her fluffy little body. What do you say? Will that be you?

What My Foster Says About Me:  If you’re looking for a scruffy low rider with a heart of gold, Lolita is your girl! She is a total lap dog and loves to be close to her people. She’s very food motivated which is great for training, and she’s good with our resident dog, loves to play! She seems to really pick up on the energy of the environment she’s in and can be a little skittish at first, but she warms up quick and is sure to win you over with her big eyes and short legs that give her the cutest trot when she walks. Lolita is still young and has a lot of love to give! She just needs some encouragement and confidence building to be the best dog she can be. 

Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.
