Kalmia is Looking For:    Ballooo!! My name is Kalmia!! I'm hanging out in a shelter right now, and I can tell you one thing, there are A LOT of interesting smells here!!! But it's really not a great place, and I'd love to bust out of here and head up to this cool place I'm hearing about near Washington DC!! I've heard I could meet a family there, and they could take me home and I'd get to live with them (and I hear there would be interesting food smells!). I hear I could lie on a couch and just sniff. Sounds like heaven. And I could take a lot of walks, and do some sniffing on those, and maybe even some runs if you're interested (I'm good at running). And when we're done walking (or maybe even hiking?), we could come home and sit on the couch again and cuddle and watch TV! You can even pick what we watch. Maybe I could even have a few toys, and a nice bed to call my own. And I'd love to take some obedience classes and make you proud of how well I can behave, and go to the dog park and make some friends and do some more sniffing there!! What do you say? Are you the family for me??
