Name:  Baroody          Best Guess for Breed:  Shepherd and lab mix

Best Guess for Age:  7 months as of April 2024         SEX:   Male

Estimated Weight (puppies' weights change quickly!): 34lbs as of 4/7

Gets Along With:        Most puppies are in the prime of their socialization window and will do well with other dogs, cats and kids so long as they receive patience and proper training.

Baroody is Looking For:   What's a baroody, you ask? It's an awesome pup who is looking for his forever home! The other dogs at the shelter told him how big the world is, and he's eager to have his own humans to explore it with. Long sniffy walks, romps in parks, and all the adventures they can dream up - yes, please! He'd love to make pup and people pals along the way. Dog school is on his wish list as well, so he can show how super smart he is. 

Most of all, he wants to know where he belongs and that he's safe and loved for all his days. In exchange, he promises loyal companionship and adoring gazes- and to make you laugh often.

What My Foster Says About Me: Baroody is a very good pup. He is very food and positive reinforcement motivated. He is taking well to potty training. He's loves all people and great with kids, so gentle. He really likes physical touch, and checks in a lot, so training with the "touch" or "yes" command and a nose tap I think would be beneficial and a good tool to get him to heel, redirect attention from squirrels, or any other walking behavior that needs to be corrected. He had started to learn "sit" and "come." He is a very cuddly puppy!
