Name:  Ridgecrest       Best Guess for Breed: Shepherd/Terrier mix

Best Guess for Age:  2 years as of March 2024     SEX:   Male

Approximate Weight: 31 lbs as of 3/14/24; a healthy weight for him will be closer to 45

Gets Along With:   Other dogs! We haven't seen him with kids or cats but he can be tested

Currently Living at:  South Carolina shelter; needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get his freedom ride up here!

Ridgecrest is Looking For: His forever family. This sweetie arrived in the shelter severely underweight but he's sweet as can be, has closed that chapter, and is ready for his new one. The one where he gets his own humans for long sniffy walks, romps in the park, and all the adventures they can dream up. He hasn't seen nearly enough of the world and is very much looking forward to exploring it. 

Quality kibble (definitely) and a cushy dog bed are also on his wish list but what he wants most of all is to know he's safe and loved and under his own roof for all his days. In exchange, he offers all the loyal companionship, adoring gazes, and tail wags any human could ever want. What do you say? Is he the one for you?
