KLONDIKE NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!

Come meet Klondike and other great adoptable dogs this Sunday (April 14th) from 12-3 pm at the Petsmart in Kensington (5154 Nicholson Ln, Kensington, MD 20895)!

Name:  Klondike          Best Guess for Breed:  Lab and border collie mix  

Best Guess for Age:   2 years as of  March 2024         SEX:    Female

Approximate Weight:   52 lbs

Gets Along With:  Other dogs! We have tested Klondike with some of the cats at the shelter, and she did not seem particularly interested in chasing or pouncing on the cat. While this is a positive sign that Klondike could live with a cat, she has not done so to our knowledge. If you have cats in your home, we are happy to discuss with you how to best introduce a new pup to your pack! We haven’t seen Klondike with kids, but she can be tested.

Currently Living at:   DC area foster home.

Klondike is Looking For:    Meet Klondike, a delightful 2-year-old lab mix whose coat shines as brightly as her friendly playful personality. She is currently seeking a loving forever home, and she comes with a heart full of love and an eagerness to be your loyal companion. With her youthful energy and a wagging tail that never seems to stop, Klondike is the embodiment of joy and exuberance. She will be a wonderful companion, longing to explore the neighborhood, visit the local parks, go on trips to the mountains, have fun splashing in creeks – trying it all with you.  Or just cuddling on the couch.

More than that, though, she wants lots of snuggles and to be safe and loved with her forever family.

What My Foster Says About Me:  Klondike is a great combination of playful and chill: happy to play fetch or chase another dog in the yard, and happy to be chilling in her crate or lying on the floor. Klondike is a happy dog - she will happily follow you around the house (earning the nickname "Velcro"). She is also doing well with crate training.

Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.
