Best Guess for Age:   1.5 years as of November 2024       SEX:    Female

Approximate Weight:   30 lbs

Gets Along With:    Other dogs! We haven't seen her with kids or cats but she can be tested if you have them

Currently Living at:   DC area foster home.

Tahiti is Looking For:   First off, she wants to clarify that she has not yet been to that tropical paradise for which she is named. Indeed, she has not yet seen nearly enough of the world and would like to start by getting her own humans for long sniffy walks, romps in parks, and all the adventures they can dream up - but no, that does not include a 16-hour flight in cargo from DC to French Polynesia.

What My Foster Says About Me:  Tahiti is an affectionate and gentle girl who is quickly learning the ropes in her foster home! She loves meeting new people and making friends with other dogs at the park. She has a moderate energy level and enjoys exploring the city on her walks - she is always curious about her surroundings! She's already mastered simple commands like sit, stay, and come, and is making great progress with leash training. She does very well in her crate and enjoys snuggling up with her humans for a relaxing evening. During the day, she’s good at settling in her dog bed while her foster parent works. Like many dogs in new environments, she is always looking for cues from her humans on how to behave and make them happy! She is eager to please and food motivated! 

Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.
