Hi, I'm Kiele, which means 'fragrant blossom' in Hawaiian, a sweet Pit Bull mix. The volunteers have been calling me Lily, which I respond to. I guess my Hawaiian name isn't very easy for people to pronounce properly. My mom was found pregnant running around in the desert by a good samaritan. They were able to catch her, but not the male who was with her; probably my dad. Unfortunately she ended up at Animal Regulation or else the good samaritan faced eviction. Thankfully she was rescued by C.A.R.L. and gave birth to us in a foster home. I don't understand why, but I'm the only one left from the litter without a forever home. Even my mom has found her forever home. I'm an active dog who is good with other dogs and children. I love to run around, give kisses and get belly rubs. I was cat tested and although I didn't lunge at the cats, I was a bit too 'interested' in them and I did bark at them. So I'd probably do best in a home with no cats. I'm house and crate trained, come when called, sit on command and walk well on a leash. I know my breed gets a bad rap, but I think you'll fall in love with me if you give me a chance. I can't wait to have a family and home to call my own. Stop by and meet me, I'll be waiting.
