From the foster: This girl has been waiting a really long time to find her forever home. I wonder why, when I see her happy tail, and her shining eyes. She is so enthusiastic and loving, and wants nothing more than to be loved for who she is.
Brie is a gorgeous boxer/pit bull mix. She is what I consider classic pitty personality – and NO, that doesn’t mean biting or fighting. It means a happy, vivacious dog full of snuggles, and cuddles, and love who wants to spend every minute she can pressed right up next to you – or if she’s lucky, ON you! Yes, your very own giant lap dog! Brie is fully potty trained, crate trained (although she is good without it, too), and not destructive in the house – YES, all of the hard work is done for you already!
She gets along with some dogs after proper introductions, but would be best in a home with a male dog if she had a friend, or as the only dog as she tends to get catty with other females in the house. Speaking of cats… she prefers a cat-free zone! She gets along just fine with polite children, but gets overwhelmed with smaller kids, and would do best in a home with kids over 10 years old.
Brie has happy energy, and loves the outdoors! Her most favorite past times include going on walks and car rides (don’t forget the snuggling), and playing in the sprinklers and the baby pool (yes, really)! She is so enthusiastic about water, she will hop on in the shower or bath if water is running and the door is open! She loves going on walks, and just spending time with her people.
Brie has a thyroid condition which requires (low cost) medication once a day, and shouldn’t develop into anything beyond that as long as she gets proper nutrition and exercise.
Did I mention that she happens to also be the proud mama of Simon, the famous eyebrow dog recently featured on Huffington Post?
Brie is an adorable, happy girl and deserves an awesome family to help her be a shining example of her loving breed!!
