Approximate Age: 2.5 years

Approximate Weight: 40 lbs.

Currently Living at: Foster in the D.C. area, but needs a forever home!!

Luke Skywalker is a Finnish Spitz mix, who is about 2-3 years old and 40 lbs. Luke Skywalker needs a home with no cats (since he likes to chase them) and no kids.

This sweet boy would love long walks and a yard of his own to play fetch in. Luke Skywalker would also make a good running partner. Don’t worry though, he is calm at home. His foster reports he is a happy, adorable guy that spends most of his day sleeping on the couch. He is a good mix of playful and chill.

Luke Skywalker is a smart guy who would love to bond with you during obedience class learning new tricks. He already knows "sit" and just recently learned peek-a-boo. Check out the video below. Luke Skywalker will need an experienced, dog-savvy owner to help him gain some confidence and learn how to handle change.

Like most shelter dogs, Luke Skywalker may need a refresher on housetraining. He is likely crate trained.
