From the Foster:
Junie is doing so well. She is coming out of her little shell and socializing more with us humans and getting along with her housemates. She has started to jump up with me on the couch for a snuggle...not a long one because her favorite spot is on her bed by my feet. She is still a little skittish with quick movements and stays well away from your feet if you are moving. Touching has been scary for her, but now she is understanding that touch can be a very nice experience.

Junie has special needs, she is diabetic, so needs a strict feeding schedule and insulin 2 times a day. We did not know this until she went thru the vetting process. Junie is a very lucky girl to be in good hands with SHH.  She will need a dedicated family to insure her a happy and healthy life.
Potty training is fantastic! She actually knew what to do, but with her trust issues, she regressed.
Now, we are on the right path and I no longer worry about accidents. Junie will kennel with no problems, she likes to lay in the kennel with the door open. I no longer kennel her at night as she has found a comfy place on the bed.

Kids would be an issue with Junie....quick movements and grabbing would cause fear.
Junie is looking for her loving family to continue to show her that humans can be trusted and to give her the life she so deserves.

All dogs are in individual foster homes throughout the Twin Cities.
