Hi, I'm Danni a sweet and affectionate American Staffordshire Terrier mix rescued from the euthanasia list at the Orange County Shelter. My previous owners surrendered me, most likely due to a hematoma on my ear, which was immediately treated and has since healed without incident. I get along well with both small and large dogs but can be a little awkward on my feet and may knock smaller dogs over when playing. I am a nurturing soul who was a great help to another C.A.R.L. puppy, Ian (Adopted!) who needed help learning important social skills after being taken from his mother much too early. I also love the water and attending Dog Genie Basic Skills & Manners classes and thinks whoever said you can't teach an old dog new tricks didn't know what they were talking about. My foster mom Tina, owner of Ventura Pet Barn, and the rest of her staff have quickly fallen in love with me. I'm a gentle soul and everyone agrees I deserve a special family to call my own.
