Hi, I'm Taco an affectionate Chihuahua mix who enjoys a comfy lap to sit in. I'm a less active dog who is good with other dogs once I meet them and older children. Since I don't like to be disturbed when I'm sleeping, I'd probably do best in a home with no small children.

My previous owner said I tolerated cats and I'm housed next to the cats out at the kennel and I'm fine with them. But I was adopted and returned because I didn't do well with the cats in the home. I was kept on a leash so my adopter could better keep an eye on me as I was introduced to the cats in the home. Most of the time I would bark and lunge at them. On rare occasions, I would ignore the cats even though I saw them. Therefore I would probably do best if there were no cats in the home.

I'm house trained, come when called and will sit on command. I enjoy being around people and lounging in the sun as I tend to get cold. I don't care for the mailman, UPS man or bike riders. I hope it's not long before I'm a cherished member of a loving family.
