Approximate Weight: 25 pounds

Currently Living at:  foster home in DC, needs a forever home!

Special Adoption Considerations: Martin will do best in a home with no young children. 

Meet handsome Martin! Martin is a handsome 2.5 year old Bassett/Chihuahua Mix mix weighing in at 40 lbs and he can't wait to meet you!

Martin, though out of the crazy puppy stages, will still need PLENTY of exercise and cannot wait to learn with you DC! He's dreaming of long walks and trips to the dog park in his future and would love to play with new toys, explore the neighborhood and even go to obedience classes to show off just how smart he is! He's counting down the minutes until he can meet your friends, go on trips, and cuddle up with you on the couch after a long day. 

Martin is GREAT with other dogs and cats so he'd be a great addition to an existing pack or happy to soak up all the attention as an only dog. Martin would do best in a home with no young children. 

Like most shelter dogs, Martin may need a refresher on housetraining. He is likely crate trained.
