Description:
Hi, I'm Hope a Labrador mix who was rescued as a puppy from Animal Services. I was adopted, then later given away to another family. When I didn't get along with the other dog in the home and my new owners weren't able to contact my previous owner, I was taken to a shelter to be euthanized. Thankfully I was scanned for a microchip and C.A.R.L. was contacted. I was very fearful when I first arrived, but who wouldn't be after what I went through. Volunteers have been working with me and I'm starting to relax and settle in. I'll even roll over for a belly rub once I get to know you.
Since my arrival at C.A.R.L., I've completed my training with a professional trainer (You can watch my video below.) and what a changed dog I am. I'm no longer the scared dog in the corner. Once I get to know you I am great with kids and most dogs. I completely ignore cats when tested at the kennel. I can't remember ever living with cats before. I enjoy trips to the beach and running in the water. I'm a great walker who doesn't pull. All I need now is my forever family to come and take me home.
