Hi, I'm Chopper a sweet Labrador who was relinquished into C.A.R.L.'s Sam's Senior Dog Rescue Project. I'm grateful to be given a chance to live out my life in the comforts of a home as a cherished member of a loving family. Sadly people by-pass the older dogs for whatever reasons they may have. Senior dogs make loving companions just as younger dogs do. We deserve the chance for a family and home to call our own. I'm currently in a foster home where I get lots of love and attention. I'm good with all other dogs. I bark and get excited and animated when I see them. I'm good with children, but I need a home with no cats. I'm house trained and know how to use a doggie door. I know the basics - sit, come, stay and I walk well on a leash with a harness. Stop by and meet me, I'll be waiting.
