Wanna Lay with me?

When I got Jay almost 2 months ago he was so scared, emaciated, and had bad skin/hair problems. He now has a beautiful coat and has put on lots of weight.  It took a while for him to open up, but he is such a sweet, mellow little boy who just wants to lounge around the house on one of the dog beds, take a nap on the porch in one of his outside beds, and he also loves rolling around in the grass.  I know he has been through a lot of abuse in his short life, but all he wants is to be loved.  I'll lay in the grass with him when I get home from work and he'll lay his head on me and scoot over until he is snuggled close.  I know he will be good in any environment, but I hope someone very gentle and loving will adopt him and keep him safe.
Thanks!

All of the animals listed by San Antonio Pets Alive! were rescued from euthanasia in San Antonio, Texas. Over 20,000 animals were euthanized in San Antonio in 2011, and we are working hard to turn San Antonio into a no-kill city. In 2012 alone, we saved over 5,900 animals! By adopting from SAPA!, you not only save the life of that animal, but the life of the animal that takes their place in a foster home.

If you are interested in adopting from San Antonio Pets Alive!, please send an email to rescueme@sanantoniopetsalive.org with the pet's name and ID #.
