Estimated date of birth 04/21/2004.  Precious was rescued along with two other cats from a neglectful situation in early 2014.

Precious was unfortunately rescued from a hording situation. When she arrived, Precious was suffering from an upper respiratory infection and a painful dental disease and, after weeks of antibiotics and several teeth extractions, she has somehow not lost her love and desire for human affection.

Probably the most endearing thing about this cat is how like a dog she is. She thoroughly enjoys being pet on her back and will even roll around for your convenience so that you can pet her all over her belly, eyes closed and sometimes even drooling. We think her recent respiratory condition has added the most adorable raspy twinge to her meow that everyone loves, but it has also made it so that she sneezes regularly. She is a very laid back senior who would do well in a quiet home with affectionate and gentle children, but she would probably do best as an only cat...so that she can have all your attention.

Precious is a laid back senior who is otherwise in good health and loves attention (she is extremely attention seeking and LOVES to be pet)!

Like all Leon County Humane Society cats, this one is already spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, and tested for FIV and Feline Leukemia.
