Sweetheart Ready for a New Home!

Come meetGinger and other great adoptable dogs this Sunday (August 20) from 12-2 pm at the Bailey's Crossroads Petco (5825 Leesburg Pike, Baileys Crossroads, VA)!!!!!!

GINGER NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!!

Name: Ginger    Best Guess for Breed: Shepherd Mix

Approximate Age: 5 years old as of 8/10/17

Approximate Weight: 40 lbs

Currently Living at: Foster home. Ginger needs a new foster home or, even better yet, a forever home!

Special adoption considerations: Ginger is a sweet but shy country girl that will do best in a home outside of the noise of the busy city. She will need a second dog in the home to help show her the ropes.

Ginger is a beautiful 5 year old Shepherd mix with so much love to give! She weighs about 40 lbs., and because of her age, is done growing. Sweet Ginger didn't have an easy start but is ready to find her happy ending with a wonderful forever family!

Ginger will need daily exercise and playtime to be a happy and healthy pup. She would love to go on long walks and hikes with her pack and play with her toys at home. When she tuckered out, Ginger loves curling up for a good nap or belly rub. She can't wait to work on obedience training so that she can bond with her people and be her very best self.

Ginger gets along well with other dogs and needs to go to a home with a second dog, though she may be a bit shy at first. She is also good with young kids and cats.

Like most shelter dogs, Ginger may need a refresher on housetraining. She is likely crate trained.

The adoption fee for this dog is $350, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. If you are interested in adopting, please download our Adoption Questionnaire and e-mail it to Meg H at megh@luckydoganimalrescue.org!
