Bear Kitty

If you like a BIG snuggly cat, here is what you’ve been looking for! He weighs over 18 pounds and is a large framed cat. He was adopted from LCHS in the past, and his adopter could no longer care for him. He is an insulin dependent diabetic, although if he were able to be fed only his own correct food, it is possible this could be reduced or no longer needed. He has recently been bothered with asthma, but it is under control. He doesn’t even notice when you give him his insulin, and is an easy pill-taker. He is very relaxed, and loves to sit in your lap and sleep with you. Other female cats are fine, but he will play the “dominance game” with some other males. Bear Kitty has some special needs, but the love he’ll give you in return will be boundless!  In foster care.

Estimated date of birth 04/07/2007. Like all Leon County Humane Society cats, this one is already spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, and tested for FIV and Feline Leukemia.
