Max is a very happy and loving boy. He loves affection and being petted and brushed. He is great around my children (ages 5, 9, and 12) and is very interested in our 3 cats, often sniffing them to say "hello" and they love to bump up against him. Max enjoys being outside and going for walks, although he does tend to pull on the leash out of excitement. He gets attached to people very quickly, especially those that show him affection. He enjoys the company of smaller dogs but seems to get nervous around larger dogs and can quickly feel the need to defend himself. He will definitely need some time and space to warm up to a new, larger dog.

I was scheduled to be euthanized, but San Antonio Pets Alive! saved me and now they are helping me find the forever, loving home that I have never known.

I am currently located at San Antonio Pets Alive!, and I am in a foster home. By adopting me, you not only give me a new leash on life; you also save the life of the additional dog who can be rescued from euthanasia and placed in foster care.
