Ruthie is a dachshund/beagle mix who came to us as a stray from a local shelter. She is a 3 year old,12 pound girl who is a little reserved at first, but warms up quickly. She is snuggly and sweet! She gets along with other dogs and is housebroken.

Ruthie is so sweet you’ll probably want to call her Baby Ruth! She’s great with people, dogs, and cats. She loves to go for long walks, but don’t crate her – her free spirit doesn’t like being confined. Like a lot of our dogs, she’s shy at first but that quickly passes. Ruthie is a great dog who can’t wait for her forever home.
