Name: Demi     Breed: Yellow Lab Mix

Approximate Age: 7 months

Approximate Weight: 35 lbs

Currently Living at: Rural shelter. Demi needs a foster home, or even better, a forever home!

Demi is gorgeous 7 month old Yellow Lab Mix. She currently weighs about 35 lbs and may get a little bigger. We don't know how this sweetheart ended up in a shelter but she can't wait to come to the DC area soon and find her forever family!

Because she is young and energetic, Demi will need plenty of exercise. She'd enjoy going with her family on long walks, hikes, and frequent play dates at the dog park. At home, she'll want lots of toys to keep her busy and once she's tuckered out, Demi loves curling up for a nice nap or belly rub. Demi would love to go to obedience school with her new family so that she can learn new tricks and be her very best self.

This sweet girl is great with other dogs so she'd be a great addition to an already existing pack or happy to soak up all the attention as an only dog! Demi is also good with cats and kids so she'd love some feline or human siblings as well!

Like most shelter dogs, Demi may need a refresher on housetraining. She is likely crate trained.
