Will someone adopt me please?  I have been patiently waiting for over a year for my forever family.  I am a 5 or 6 year old slender gal, who weighs in at a mere 12 lbs.  My foster mom says I have the prettiest eyes she has ever seen—they  are a beautiful amber color.  When I first came to DRSF, I had a HORRIBLE reaction to a severe flea infestation and lost all my hair. My skin was a mess. But, you would never know that now as I have quite a beautiful, soft and shiny red coat.  I love attention.  I will jump up and give you a million kisses when you get home from work and will be right by your side—except for when I get tired at night.  And don’t worry, I will let you know if anyone ever comes near—I'm a great watch dog.  I get along well with kids—but I would do best with children who can understand when I am tired and need some alone time.  I also do well with other dogs. My favorite activities include playing with balls and fetching sticks.  And, you should see how skilled I am at standing on my hind legs.  Oh, and don’t worry about accidents in the house— I have a bladder of steel!  Please become my forever family. Isn’t it my turn to live happily ever after?
